new-house**The Museum will be open for a limited time to Honor the 55th Anniversary of the mining of USS Westchester County.** 

Items from the USS Westchester County will be on display in the Veterans Museum. November 1, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 10am-3:30pm. 

 

About the Museum

Originally converted in 1999 this caretakers cottage was to become the official site of The Westchester County Veterans Museum. Working with veterans and Chapter 49 of the Vietnam Veterans of America, the museum has been renovated in 2013, containing many artifacts and displays for public viewing.

Admission is free to the general public.

New features of the museum include:
> Stunning new granite courtyard
> The majestic bronze ” Tribute Eagle,” created by noted artisan Michael Curtis
> Beautifully landscaped grounds surrounding the cottage
> Interior of the museum which houses many artifacts and displays that will be changed and updated periodically
