Come to Lasdon Park for one of the best plant sales in the area!
The sale will be held on the Conservatory Plaza. In addition to a wide selection of showy annuals you will not find anywhere else, this year’s sale will feature a variety of Hummingbird attracting plants, edible native shrubs, roses, hydrangeas, lilacs, poppies, peonies grasses, ferns, ground covers and the ever-popular Angel Trumpets.
Floral Design Workshop
1pm-1:45pm and 1:45pm-2:30pm
The 9th District of Federated Garden Clubs will host a 45-minute floral design workshop. Participants will create their own simple, elegant traditional design to display on a dining table or coffee table at home. Learn the principles of design that include size, scale, color harmony and balance. There is a $5 materials fee per person.
Westchester Cornell Cooperative Extension and Healthy Yards will be available to answer your gardening questions along with Mill River Supply providing all your gardening needs for purchase.
All proceeds from the FLPA Plant Sale support public programs and children’s education.
