We are excited to present Battery “B” First Rhode Island Light Artillery to run the Civil War Soldier Experience at Lasdon Park. Each 2 hour session will consist of a number of fun filled, yet educational activities, demonstrations and ending with the firing a real civil war cannon. Children will witness living history while learning about the life of civil war soldiers and their families.
Suggested for children ages 7 – 12. This program will be located out of doors, so children will need to come prepared to stay outside during the camp. Participants should bring water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen, and wear comfortable clothing for outside activities.
All children participating will receive a personalized certificate and Friends of Lasdon embroidered patch.

10 a.m. – 12 noon
1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Participation is by registration only, as the program can only accommodate 25 children per session. At the end of each session, each child will receive a personalized certificate of participation as well as an official Lasdon badge.
