Spinning Bananas and Weaving Tails

Children will have fun learning of spinning plant fibers such as bananas, corn and mint to make yarn. Spinning fiber from bananas can be fun and can result in a soft, silky yarn that’s also strong and biodegradable! In this workshop we will use those fibers to weave a mini wall hanging.

Ages 5 years old and up. Six children max. Pre-registration required, sorry no walk-ins.
