Learn about the importance of soil pH and how to do a soil pH test. Participants can bring a sample of their own soil to test. The one-half cup sample should be taken at the depth of a trowel. A project to bring warm thoughts of springtime and beautiful flowers. Candlewicking 2 will go beyond the basic ecru colonial knot with some new stitches and colorful threads to stich a lovely hoop framed piece to welcome springtime into your home. Still a beginner class for all to enjoy. The original candlewicking class is not required to participate. For ages 12 and up. Limited to 12 participants. Fee includes all supplies. Take an adventure walk back in time children learn fun facts about dinosaurs and the plants that surrounded them! A special tour of the Lasdon Dinosaur Garden starts the program then on to complete a craft activity making a unique "paleo-pouch" in the form of a dinosaur to stash their fossils and other treasures.
