Honor your beloved soldier or veteran…

The Eagle Project

The Westchester Veterans Museum was established at Lasdon Park & Arboretum in 1995 and has been operated by veteran volunteers with a minimal budget. The small, converted one-story house contains many artifacts donated by our County veterans from most of our military conflicts.

This museum was established to honor our veterans and is the only County owned museum dedicated to our veterans. The immediate grounds, building exterior and displays were in great need to be renovated, which has never been attempted since its’ inception. The time has come to provide a respectable and worthy museum for the public and to properly honor our veterans. The museum renovations were completed in the spring of 2013 and re-dedicated on Armed Forces Day, May 18, 2013
