Photography Permit Fee
The cost of a permit is $50 for a 2 hour photo shoot during Lasdon open hours 8am to 4pm.
There is an additional fee of $50 per hour for any photo shoots during closed hours and this must be approved in advance by the park manager.
Checks are made payable to Westchester County (no credit cards). You must obtain your permit two days prior to your desired visit, permits are issued via e-mail.
An alternate date is arranged due to weather or other reasonable circumstances ONLY if you contact us before 4pm on the date of your permit

Visitors With Cameras
We encourage all garden visitors to photograph the gardens, sculptures, memorial monuments, wildlife and buildings at Lasdon Park, Arboretum, and Veterans Memorial. We love seeing and hearing your stories! Please tag us on Instagram @lasdon_park or Facebook @LasdonPark
ALL posed or professional photography and videography in the park requires a permit from the park manager in advance of the desired date. To apply for a permit fill out and submit the photo permit application below.
Posed photography is any visitor who wishes to use the gardens or grounds as the background in their photos examples include wedding, family, engagement, graduation, maternity, prom, senior photos. The permit is needed regardless of whether the photographer is a family member, professional, friend, etc.
Professional photography is conducted by a business (including for social media) or is intended for gallery use.
NOTE: Smoking, alcohol, and pets are not allowed during photo sessions. Drones are not allowed. Please see the Garden Etiquette page for more information.
If you are holding a special event and renting facilities at Lasdon, the permit fee is waived.
