Amazing Butterflies invites you to shrink down into the undergrowth to become one of the most extraordinary creatures on earth. Embark on a challenging journey teeming with friends and foes revealing the unusual relationship between caterpillars, butterflies and their natural surroundings. Adventure through the leaves, learn how to move like a caterpillar, discover an ant that reaps the reward of an unusual friendship, then transform into a butterfly and take flight! Together, families will explore this interactive experience and learn the surprising challenges butterflies face every day.

ALL CHILDREN 14 AND UNDER MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A TICKET HOLDING ADULT. There are no live butterflies in this exhibit. No strollers allowed in exhibit.
Enter the interactive maze, become a caterpillar and find your way through a secret, wild world as grass and leaves tower above your head. As you navigate the terrain filled with challenges around every twist and turn, take on puzzles, games and exciting interactives. The brave can even take to the air and soar down the butterfly zip slide.
You’ll discover fascinating facts about one of our planets most amazing life cycles. But beware. The maze includes dead-ends, down which lurk poisonous plants and predators waiting to pounce. Choose the right route, stamp your card along the way, and emerge as a beautiful butterfly.

Tickets are only good for date and time purchased, if changes are required, please call the park at 914-864-7061 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Changes can only be made based on availability and at the sole discretion of authorized representatives of Lasdon Park and/or Friends of Lasdon Park & Arboretum. We do not offer refunds unless the event is cancelled by Westchester County Parks or Friends of Lasdon Park & Arboretum.
PARKING: As a ticket holder, you are permitted preferred parking in the Lasdon parking lots for the time of your purchased, ticketed session. You are welcome to remain in the park after your session time, however, we ask that you move your vehicle to the front field to make room for those who purchased tickets for the next session. We appreciate your cooperation.
